Hailey Brinnel Presents: The First Ladies of Jazz

Hailey Brinnel’s show features music from the iconic women of jazz, including Sarah Vaughn, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and more.

Brinnel is a jazz vocalist and trombonist who has played the Newtown Theatre several times in recent years to rave reviews and standing ovations. In 2023, she premiered her latest album, Beautiful Tomorrow, on the Newtown Theatre stage.

Bond & Beyond: Happy Hour and Thunderball

The Newtown Theatre is teaming up with David Zaritsky – creator of the world’s #1 James Bond online fan channel (The Bond Experience) and owner of one of the world’s biggest 007 memorabilia collections – for a James Bond happy hour at Triple Sun Spirits followed by a screening of “Thunderball.”

At Triple Sun, Zaritsky will mingle with guests and display various Bond memorabilia from 4:00-7:00 PM. Following happy hour, guests can make their way to the Newtown Theatre for a 60th anniversary screening of 1965’s “Thunderball” starting at 8:00 PM.

Guests can view more Bond memorabilia at the theatre and hear Zaritsky share stories of the world of Bond, including his experiences with Daniel Craig and how Bond has become the movie juggernaut it is.
