The Fourth Annual
Newtown Black & White Dinner
Saturday, September 7 ♦ 6:00 - 11:00 PM ♦ 120 N. State St., Newtown, PA
The Newtown Theatre cordially invites you to the fourth annual Black & White Dinner, a festive public picnic held on the street outside the historic Newtown Theatre in Bucks County. Proceeds from this special event help the nonprofit Newtown Theatre maintain its facility and programming.
Resurrect the elegance of a bygone Hollywood era! Guests dress only in black and white for this event.
You're welcome to coordinate outfits with a group of friends or dress up like a Hollywood legend—as long as it's black and white, the sky's the limit!
Prizes will be awarded after dinner to the Best Dressed Man, Best Dressed Woman, and Best Dressed Group.
When you arrive to the Black & White Dinner, you'll find a long communal table with tablecloths and chairs. You're welcome to decorate your place at the table with black and white decor.
Decorations may be elegant, movie-themed, theatre-inspired—it's up to you!
Prizes will be awarded to those who bring the Most Elegant Decor and Most Creative Decor.
Black & White Dinner guests bring a picnic dinner for you and your partner or group. That includes beverages, flatware and utensils.
Set-up is from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, and dinner begins at 7:00. Homemade food or take-out from a local restaurant are welcome. Please note that alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
After dinner, head into the theatre for a free screening of His Girl Friday.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Newtown Theatre if you aren't able to make it on September 8 but would like to help us maintain our facility and bring quality entertainment to the Newtown community.

You're welcome to attend with a partner, friend, or group. Upon arrival, each couple is seated at the next open pair of seats. Tickets are sold only in pairs because guests are seated across from each other at one long communal table.
