A One-of-a-Kind Venue in the Heart of Bucks County

The Newtown Theatre has been entertaining Newtown since 1831 and is believed to be the oldest continuously operating movie theatre in the United States. Today, it’s also one of the most intimate and unique places to experience live entertainment in Bucks County.

Located in a walkable historic downtown just 20 minutes from Doylestown and 40 minutes from Philadelphia, the Newtown Theatre hosts several events nearly every weekend of the year — featuring top tribute bands, singer-songwriters, comedians, family shows, and nationally known performers.
