The historic Newtown Theatre is looking to hire responsible employees age 16 and older with excellent guest-service skills. It’s a great first job for a young person or a retiree looking to make extra money. It’s also a fun and unique place to work – Newtown’s center of entertainment!

Floor staff have a variety of responsibilities, including selling tickets, working the concession stand, restocking inventory, and keeping the theatre clean among other duties.
Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, an ability to work with a wide range of customers in a fast-paced environment, and a high aptitude for handling a point-of-sale system. Most shifts fall on weekend days and nights (candidates must be able to work weekends), but some weeknight work is likely.
Pay: $12/hour plus tips.

Bartenders must be at least 18 years old. Duties include serving drinks (beer, wine, canned cocktails – we do not serve mixed drinks or draft beer), restocking inventory, working a point-of-sale system, and helping with theatre cleanup after events.
