Thank you to everyone who helped make the adopt-a-seat campaign a smashing success. We sold all 168 seats and raised an incredible $115,000!

Although all of our first-floor seats have been adopted, we’re still gratefully accepting donations in support of renovations. Additional renovation phases will be coming in the next few years, and your support is needed to make it happen.

Can I update my plaque text?
Yes, you can update your seat’s plaque until August. Please email manager@thenewtowntheatre.com to update your plaque. We will also reach out soon if your plaque text does not fit within the allowed character count. 

How do I get a receipt for my donation?
In August, all donors will receive a letter confirming their donation.

When can I expect my mug/poster?
We will send thank-you gifts to eligible donors ($1,000 and above) in August. 

Can you tell me more about the upcoming renovations?
The renovation page contains all of the details about the renovation plans. Check back frequently – we’ll update it as renovations progress!

Will I be able to reserve my seat(s) when I come to the theatre?
All Newtown Theatre movies and events are general admission, so guests are unable to reserve specific seats. The Newtown Arts Company does allow patrons to choose specific seats for their plays and musicals, but they are a separate organization from the theatre.
