Catch stand-up comedians Kevin Downey, Jr. and Larry XL on stage at the Newtown Theatre for an unforgettable double-headliner show! Doors open at 7 PM and the show starts at 8 PM.

Beer, wine and concessions will be sold from the time the doors open until the start of the performance.

Comedian and columnist Kevin Downey, Jr. has been recently labeled "refreshingly bizarre" by fellow comedian Joe Mulligan. Kevin headlined small rooms all over the U.S. and enjoyed a cult following until his frequent and on-going bookings at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino's "Comedy Stop" in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, brought him to a new level of notoriety.

Larry XL has been a finalist in comedy competitions in his native Baltimore and neighboring cities like Washington, DC and Philadelphia. Soon after he started performing at area clubs, Larry XL recorded a concert CD with the DC Standup All-Stars, 2004's DC Standup vs. Earth and later his own live DVD, 2009’s Crowd Control. He’s opened for the likes of Bobby Slayton, John Witherspoon, Ralphie May, Jim Florentine, Don Jamieson, Roy Wood Jr., Finesse Mitchell, and Charlie Murphy.
