Larry McKenna is well known to Newtown Theatre patrons, having brought a near-monthly matinee concert to its stage for the past two years. Now he has written and produced his own one-man comedy show that covers life “from diapers to Depends.”
During the show, Larry will humorously cover the troubled waters of childhood, adolescence, marriage, adulthood, parenting and grandparenting. His 48 years of marriage to his wife Kathy, their four children and 11 grandchildren provide much of the material for this show.
Larry grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia. He taught high school for 34 years and has been performing at various venues from the Jersey shore to the Poconos for more than 50 years. His writing credits include the hit musical “Burt & Me” and two comedies titled “The Next Reunion” and “Strictly Platonic.”
Proceeds from this show will be split between the non-profit Newtown Theatre and The Welcome Center, which offers opportunities for immigrants and others to improve the quality of their lives through education, support services and programs that help lead them to self-sufficiency.
TICKET POLICIES
Any tickets not sold before the show will be available at the door for $32.
You can present a hard copy of your tickets or the QR code on your phone.
All ticket sales are final. Please be aware of what event you are buying tickets for. Refunds or ticket exchanges will not be offered. If you can't attend, you're welcome to give your tickets to someone else.

CONCERT DETAILS
Doors open at 6:30 PM and the show starts at 7:30 PM.
Seating is first come, first served. We recommend arriving early if you would like to secure your favorite seats.
Beer, wine and canned cocktails will be available for purchase at the theatre before and during the show.
Free parking is available along North State Street, in the municipal lot between Washington and Centre Avenue, and in the municipal lot next to Newtown Borough Hall (23 North State Street).
We have a wheelchair lift on our front porch and an accessible restroom on the first floor. There are no steps to climb to access the first floor of the auditorium. There are steps to the balcony.
