Take a trip down memory lane at the first-ever “Night of Newtown Memories” on September 30.

Hosted by Newtown Borough resident Marty Moss-Coane, host and executive producer of WHYY-FM’s “Radio Times,” this event will start at 7 PM with a community cocktail hour (cash bar) and socializing.

The program begins at 8 PM and will follow a lively talk-show format with Moss-Coane moderating a group of special local guests who will share their Newtown memories on a variety of topics, including business, entertainment, education, and social life.

This special evening is presented by the Newtown Theatre and the Newtown Historic Association. The night will serve as a kick off to the Historic Association’s annual Market Day, which is being held the next day - Saturday, October 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tickets are $20 for the public and $15 for members of the theatre and the historic association. Proceeds will benefit both non-profit organizations.

• The concession stand will be open. Beer, wine and cocktails will be available for purchase. 

• All tickets are general admission.

• All ticket sales are final. Refunds will not be offered for any reason. If you can't attend, you're welcome to give your tickets to someone else. The name on the ticket does not have to match the person using it.
